Vidit Hirani

2018-19 Fellows

Vidit Hirani is a Fellow of the Center for Buildings, Infrastructure and Public Space and enrolled in the Master’s Degree program for Construction Engineering & Management at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University. His undergraduate degree was a B.Tech. from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), conferred in May 2018.

He has significant experience working as Acquisition and Development analyst at a real estate firm where he was involved in undertaking financial modeling for new acquisitions and managing the budgets and schedule for an on-going project. He also worked as a Larsen & Toubro Construction where he supervised the construction of various reinforced cement concrete structures, performed quality control checks and assisted the planning department with schedule and cost tracking. His interpersonal and negotiating skills were used for outreach when he served as Brand Manager for Red Bull India Private Limited, where he also assisted with event management.

At CBIPS he will be participating in the research efforts pertaining to Public-Private Partnership in the United States of America. The research is focused on the current state of the P3 market and analyzing the challenges and success factors for various Public-Private Partnership projects.
