Fumin (Renee) Chen a graduate student working on an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering focusing on Construction Engineering and Management at Columbia University in the City of New York. At CBIPS her group research topic is Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Multi-Family Residential buildings. She is participating, as well, in the STV Industry Field Study (previously called Practicum). She graduated with a B.S. in Civil and Environment Engineering at Virginia Tech. During her time at VT, the college curriculum help her to have a rock-solid theoretical academic foundation. Additionally, she has gained precious experience within the Civil Engineering Industry through construction engineering and management internships. By following her passion for Construction Management, she looks forward to applying her academic experience as well as courage and enthusiasm to the industrial field through an internship.
