2023 CBIPS Panelist Kate Mikuliak

Kate Mikuliak is Program Manager for Strategic Policy at the NYC Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) where she has worked since 2010. She is dedicated to implementing public realm solutions to enable the sustainable and equitable movement of freight and waste and is particularly interested in low-impact solid waste set out and collection and the reactivation of a local marine highway. Recent examples of her work include producing the Delivering Green freight vision plan, NYC DOT’s contributions to the City’s strategic climate plan, and the $7.25M award winning Filling the Gaps. At DOT she previously worked as Director of Legislative Affairs, Deputy Director for Intergovernmental Affairs and Outreach Coordinator.

She holds an MPA in Public Policy from the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Public Health from Hunter College.
