Arash Shamsian

Board of Alumni

Arash Shamsian is a New York-licensed Professional Engineer with experience in construction management, logistics, temporary structures design, and project cost controls.

He has worked in and around New York City on construction of the Verrazzano-Narrows bridge, various bridge repairs, mixed-use complexes, and transit substations.  Outside of the United States he spent 10 years working on various design projects for high rise building and complexes in middle east

Currently Arash is working on the reconstruction of upper and lower level toll plazas and southbound approach at the Henry Hudson bridge and lighting replacement at northbound/southbound Henry Hudson Parkway in Bronx.

In 2016 he received his second Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Civil Engineering.  His first master was in civil engineering from AmirKabir university in Tehran, Iran. 

Arash likes extreme sports and has international license in paragliding, he also likes to travel and explore other countries and culcures.
