Ashutosh Tripathi

Ashutosh Tripathi is a Fellow of the Center for Buildings, Infrastructure and Public Space and enrolled in the Master’s Degree program for Construction Engineering & Management at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University. His undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from NMIMS University in Mumbai, conferred in May, 2017.

He has significant experience working as an Engineer Trainee at the Shubham Group where he monitored site requirements and supervised execution of construction on residential projects. He also generated schedules according to the deliverables and client requirements. Previously Ashutosh worked as a Construction Management Intern at Larsen & Toubro Realty Limited where he oversaw the execution of various project details and verified load design parameters comparing manual calculations with those generated using STAADPro.

His research interests include the analysis of market conditions in the construction industry of the Philippines, and comparison of conditions there with international trends of construction practices. Additional research related these trends to the life-cycle, maintenance and operational costs of a particular project. At CBIPS he will be participating in the research efforts pertaining to the Infrastructure Financing in operations and maintenance.
