David Chitanava David is a '21 graduate of Columbia University in the City of New York. He was awarded a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Engineering and Management.
David was a Program Associate and a fellow at the Columbia University Center for Buildings, Infrastructure, and Public Space. Currently, he is holding an Office Engineer position for Gannett Fleming, Inc (via Pena Alcantara M To Pros JV LLC). David is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Engineers Without Borders (EWB), and a member of the board of alumni of the Columbia University Center of Buildings, Infrastructure and Public Space (CBIPS).
During David’s professional experience, he led the Construction and Operation Department of one of the most successful construction companies in Georgia. His career allowed him to acquire engineering, managerial, and leadership skills in the construction industry. David is experienced in building and heavy civil engineering projects.
David actively continues his career in the US and the global AEC market.
