George O. Lea, Jr.

George has 35 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of facilities.  He presently serves as Chief Military Engineering Branch, US Army Corps of Engineers. Past assignments include Chief Engineer DC  METRO; Chief of Construction Baltimore District,  Director Engineering and Construction Group Pentagon Renovation and Chief Engineer US Navy Public Works Department Naples Italy. Served as a Navy Pilot.

Education includes Master of Science Secondary Education Old Dominion University, Masters Certificate in Leadership Darden Business School, University of Virginia; Civil Engineering Bucknell University.

George was inducted into the National Academy of Construction, class of 2017; awards include Department of the Army Meritorious Civilian Service Award; US Navy Superior Civilian Service Award, Construction Management Association of America’s Person of the Year.
