I am an Italian Engineer, I’ve born in Florence where I started my bachelor degree in civil engineering in which I had the chance to participate to an exchange program in Barcelona for an year. Once I finished my bachelor I started a master degree at Bologna University in structural engineering as it was the only one (at that time) that had a partnership with Columbia University which was my dream school. I complete my first year in Bologna and I got accepted from Columbia so I started my journey here in New York. It was during my study year at Columbia that I started to be interested in the CM word and I finally got a job at HNTB in the CM/PM department. I was doing a research (which is still in progress) with Professor T. Zoli (Bridge Designer Professor) who’s actually one of the principal of the company and it was thanks to him that I got this position.
