Haigang Gui

2018-19 Fellows

Haihang Gui is a Fellow of the Center for Buildings, Infrastructure and Public Space and enrolled in the Master’s Degree program for Construction Engineering $ Management at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University. His undergraduate dregree was a B.S in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, conferred in September, conferred in 2018.

He has significant experience working as an assistant traffic engineer intern at the Chongqing Highway Co.ltd where he foused on the Wulong Highway project in Chongqing. His major responsiblities are documenting the conference materials about the sercurity issues and potential Bridge Highway strutcural design changes and understanding the process of each constrcution techniques such as building piers, paving the bridge and tunneling.

His research interest included the feasibility of construction plans in housing and other infrastructures. At CBIPS he will be participating in the research efforts pertaining to technical analysis of infrastructure maintenance and operations.
