Jieyu Wan

2019-20 Fellows

Jieyu Wan is a Fellow of the Center for Buildings, Infrastructure and Public Space and enrolled in the Master’s Degree program for Construction Engineering & Management at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University. She has successfully completed an undergraduate program in Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China. And she was hereby awarded a B.M. degree in Project Management in 2019. She has achieved Comprehensive Development Scholarship and Academic Merit Scholarship during undergraduate period. What’s more, she won Second prize in group division and Individual second prize at National Project Management Competition.

She worked as an intern at Corporate Appraisal and Advisory Department, Jones Lang LaSalle. There she paid a lot of attention to project management and participated in a lot of real projects such as Metro, GLP, and PICC. Another meaningful internship focused on risk management is working at BOCOM International (Shanghai) Equity Investment Management Co., Ltd. 

She has a lot of passion in the area of civil engineering, and her research interests center on project management, carbon emission, big data analysis. At CBIPS she will make every effort to participate in projects related to historic house trust, visualization, and data analytics. With the cutting-edge methods and technologies learned from CBIPS, she will definitely grow to be more creative and competitive.
