Priyank Jivrajbhai Vasoya

Priyank Vasoya is enrolled in Master of Science degree program for Construction Engineering and Management at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and technology. He pursued his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering Degree from the Gujarat Technological University in Gujarat, India. After completing his graduation, he worked for a brief period at a Consultancy in Surat, where he was an Assistant Civil Engineer leveraging his knowledge in the field during his training period.

During his under graduation, he successfully completed courses like Advance Construction and Equipments, Design of Steel Structure, Traffic Engineering and Railway, Bridge and Tunnel Engineering. Priyank has worked on multiple different projects including the Planning proposal for new central bus station for Surat urban area and is working currently on Alliance Contracting project.

The core areas of his interest involve sustainable infrastructure, modular construction and public-private partnership. At CBIPS, he is enthusiastic to participate in a new research project where he and his team members will be working with Prof. Feniosky Peña-Mora and congressman Ydanis Rodriguez to preserve the historic buildings in Washington Heights, Manhattan and to safeguard the exterior by proposing the use of innovative building materials.
