Siqi Fan, is a Civil and Environmental Engineering graduate from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at Columbia University, specializes in Construction Engineering & Management.
Before Columbia, she has undertaken several research projects at the Technion’s National Building Research Institute, which includes Lean Construction Simulation Game, Monitoring Construction Activities at BIM and Virtual Construction Laboratories, and Surveying Radon Radioactivity in Israel at Built Environment Lab. Besides research experience, her practical internship at CRCC-Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group focused on underground structure design.
Her research interests focus on the synergies of Construction and Intelligence, two related areas that are revolutionizing the tools and practices used in Civil Engineering, such as BIM, lean construction and visualization.
