Tanushri Ganesh

2018-19 Fellows

Tanushri Ganesh is a Fellow of the Center for Buildings, Infrastructure and Public Space and enrolled in the Master’s Degree program for Construction Engineering & Management at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Architecture from Manipal University in Manipal, India, conferred in May 2016.

She has significant experience working as a freelance architect in Bangalore where she developed architectural and interior design for a variety of residential projects. She has also worked as a Junior Architect at Space Lab Architecture, also in Bangalore, creating conceptual designs, working drawings, construction documents, and 3D modeling for housing, hotel, and hospital projects. At  RSP Design Consultants India Private Ltd, she worked as an intern, developing conceptual sketches, working drawings, and 3D models.

Her research interests include master planning of housing in Bangalore and the infrastructural problems pertaining to waste management and disposal where she formulated eco-friendly methods of addressing the correlative urban design issues. At CBIPS she will be participating in the research efforts pertaining to the urban design and infrastructure issues related to the creation of a 2030 District in Washington Heights, Inwood, and Marble Hill.
