Yi Liang is a Fellow of the Center for Buildings, Infrastructure and Public Space and enrolled in the master’s degree program for Construction Engineering & Management at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University. He earned his undergraduate degree from University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT.
Graduated with a background in Civil Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Connecticut, Yi interned in Yantai Architectural Design and Research Co., Ltd in China where he gained significantly experience in architecture. Yi also interned in Kwant.ai in the New York City where he helped the project manager with scheduling and project reports.
At CBIPS, Yi’s research is related heavily in Visualization and Data. Specifically focus on Machine Learning and Deep Learning related areas and how to applied these technologies in the field of Civil Engineering
